Brightworks

Brightworks is a K-8 mixed-age school that combines the best practices from early childhood education and hands-on, project-based experiential learning. Students work on two-week to two-month long projects in which a specific theme is explored, an aspect of the theme is developed in creative expression, and the finished project is presented to the school community. 450 helped set the stage for this learning environment by listening to and working with the teachers and administrators to develop the best learning environment. Due to the hands-on nature of many of the student projects, 450 proposed minimum initial build-out of their leased warehouse space with a new uniform floor finish that provides a coherent, unified space in which to grow.
